Sole Source, Intellectual and Copyright Information
A sole source vendor is a company or person who sells a unique product or service that meets the specific needs of the purchaser; generally, sole source means the one and only source for the product or service.
The product or services sold by Partners In Learning are available only from Partners In Learning and NOT through resellers or local printers, and designers who could submit competitive pricing for the copyrighted product or exclusive services created, developed, manufactured and distributed by Partners In Learning Programs, Inc.
The personalized school products or theme design services being purchased from Partners In Learning perform a function for which no other product or source of services exists.
Policy on Intellectual Property
Many of Partners In Learning products consist of copyrightable and trademark subject matter, whether in the form of photographs, designs, drawings, quotations and/or compilations of artistic elements and design features that, taken together, create a visually and intellectually pleasing whole.
Our business is based, in large part, upon development and sale of copyrighted products, and we cannot afford to risk loss of our exclusive rights by inappropriate and/or largely unsupervised use of our intellectual property by others. In view of the foregoing, we regret that we must establish and maintain a strict and invariable policy of denying these requests for permission to use or reproduce our copyrighted products, or any elements therein.
IN KEEPING WITH THIS POLICY, ANY THIRD PARTY USE OF OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IS THEREFORE UNAUTHORIZED AND UNDERTAKEN AT THE RISK OF THE PARTY MAKING SUCH USE. THERE MUST BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
